Time‐varying linear regression via flexible least squares is used to determine temperature‐dependent kinetic parameters during low‐pressure, steady‐state, temperature‐programmed desorption from catalytic surfaces. The flexible least squares approach optimizes time‐varying parameters by minimizing dynamic and measurement discrepancies between a linear theoretical model and experimental data using linear regression. The effectiveness of this approach is demonstrated by calculation of accurate temperature‐dependent activation energies, preexponential factors, and differential conversion functions for the evolution of 3‐methyl‐2‐oxetanone (β‐lactone) during the selective oxidation of isobutane over aluminum phosphomolybdates. 相似文献

The biological effect, aquation, and kinetics of oxidation of bis(2‐aminobenzothiazole)dichlorocobalt(II) complex by periodate in aqueous acidic solutions were studied. The complex exhibited a broad resistance toward the studied pathogens. The average value of the aquation constant was calculated spectrophotometrically as 2.55 × 10?5 mol2 dm?6. Kinetics of the oxidation reaction showed first‐order dependence on each reactant concentration and increased by increasing pH over the 3.80–4.80 range, 35–50°C, and decreased by increasing the ionic strength over the 0.1–0.5 mol dm?3 range. The polymerization of acrylonitrile was taken as an evidence for an inner‐sphere mechanism through the formation of free radical intermediates of Co(III) complexes, which were slowly converted to the final Co(III)products. 相似文献

The present work included condensation reactions of o-tolidine with different aromatic aldehydes in absolute ethanol to give Schiff bases (w 9 –w 12 ) in high yield which, on reaction with maleic and phthalic anhydride by [2+5] cycloaddition reactions in the presence of suitable solvents, give the corresponding [1,3]oxazepine-4,7-dione (w 9 m–w 12 m) and [1,3]oxazepine-1,5-dione (w 9 ph–w 12 ph), respectively. Accumulation of heavy metals (HMs) by ornamental plants (OPs) from contaminated agriculture soils is a unique technique that can efficiently reduce the metal load in the food chain. Amaranthus tricolor L. has attractive characteristics acquiring a higher growth rate and large biomass when grown at heavy metal contaminated soils. Site-specific detailed information is not available on the use of A. tricolor plant in metal phytoremediation from the polluted sites. The study aimed to enhance the uptake of HMs (Pb, Zn, and Cu) via amending poultry litter extract (PLE), vinasse sugarcane (VSC), and humic acid (HA) as natural mobilized organic materials compared to ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), as a common mobilized chemical agent by A. tricolor plant. The studied soils collected from Helwan, El-Gabal El-Asfar (Cairo Governorate), Arab El-Madabeg (Assiut Governorate), Egypt, and study have been conducted under pot condition. Our results revealed all organic materials in all studied soils, except EDTA in EL-Gabal El-Asfar soil, significantly increased the dry weight of the A. tricolor plant compared to the control treatment. The uptake of Pb and Zn significantly (p > 0.05) increased due to applying all organic materials to the studied soils. HA application caused the highest uptake as shown in Pb concentration by more than 5 times in Helwan soil and EDTA by 65% in El-Gabal El-Asfar soil while VSC increased it by 110% in El-Madabeg soil. Also, an increase in Zn concentration due to EDTA application was 58, 42, and 56% for Helwan, El-Gabal El-Asfar, and El-Madabeg soil, respectively. In all studied soils, the application of organic materials increased the remediation factor (RF) than the control. El-Madabeg soil treated with vinasse sugarcane gave the highest RF values; 6.40, 3.26, and 4.02% for Pb, Zn, and Cu, respectively, than the control. Thus, we identified A. tricolor as a successful ornamental candidate that, along with organic mobilization amendments, most efficiently develop soil health, reduce metal toxicity, and recommend remediation of heavy metal-contaminated soils. Additionally, long-term application of organic mobilization amendments and continued growth of A. tricolor under field conditions could be recommended for future directions to confirm the results. 相似文献

Despite the extensive use of carbon steel in all industrial sectors, particularly in the petroleum industry, its low corrosion resistance is an ongoing problem for these industries. In the current work, two malonyl dihydrazide derivatives, namely 2,2’-malonylbis (N-phenylhydrazine-1-carbothiamide (MBC) and N’1, N’3-bis(-2-hydroxybenzylidene) malonohydrazide (HBM), were examined as inhibitors for the carbon steel corrosion in 1.0 M HCl. Both MBC and HBM were characterised using thin-layer chromatography, elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and nuclear magnetic resonance techniques. The corrosion tests were performed using mass loss measurements, polarisation curves, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. It is obtained from the mass loss studies that the optimal concentration for both inhibitors is 2.0 × 10−5 mol/L, and the inhibition efficiencies reached up to 90.7% and 84.5% for MBC and HBM, respectively. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic polarisation (PDP) indicate an increased impedance in the presence of both MBC and HBM and mixed-type inhibitors, respectively. Both inhibitors can mitigate corrosion in the range of 298–328 K. Values of free energy changes obtained from the Langmuir model suggest that the inhibitors suppress the corrosion process principally by chemisorption. The computational investigations were conducted to identify the factors connected with the anti-corrosive properties of the examined inhibitors. 相似文献

The hydrazide obtained from furan-2(3H)-one integrated with a quinolin-2(1H)-one core reported previously by our research group was utilized as a building block synthon to obtain some pyrrolone, pyridazinone, oxadiazole, and triazole derivatives through treating with some carbon electrophilic reagents, for example, chloroacetyl chloride, benzoyl chloride, acetic anhydride, carbon disulfide, 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde, and 2-oxoquinolin-3-carbaldehyde to achieve the target heterocycles. The newly synthesized compounds were evaluated as immunomodulator against highly pathogenic avian influenza virus (H5N8). Six solid Pd(II) and Hg(II) complexes of some purines and pyrimidines have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV–Vis spectra, magnetic measurements, and thermal analyses. The data suggest tetrahedral and square planar geometries for mercury and palladium complexes, respectively. The thermal behavior of the complexes has been studied applying TG, DTA, and DSC techniques, and the thermodynamic parameters and mechanisms of the decompositions were evaluated. The ?S* values of the decomposition steps of the metal complexes indicated that the activated fragments have more ordered structure than the undecomposed complexes, and/or the decomposition reactions are slow. The thermal processes proceeded in complicated mechanisms where the bond between the central metal ion and the ligands dissociates after losing small molecules such as H2O, HCl or C=O. The palladium adenine complex is ended with the metal as a final product. However, the thermal reactions of the other five palladium and mercury pyrimidines complexes are ended with metal bonded to O, N, or S of the pyrimidine ring. 相似文献

Three new series of paracyclophanyl-dihydronaphtho[2,3-d]thiazoles and paracyclophanyl-thiazolium bromides were designed, synthesized, and characterized by their spectroscopic data, along with X-ray analysis. One-dose assay results of anticancer activity indicated that 3a–e had the highest ability to inhibit the proliferation of different cancer cell lines. Moreover, the hybrids 3c–e were selected for five-dose analyses to demonstrate a broad spectrum of antitumor activity without apparent selectivity. Interestingly, series I compounds (Z)-N-substituted-4,9-dihydronaphtho[2,3-d]thiazol-3(2H)-yl)-4′-[2.2]paracyclophanylamide) that are carrying 1,4-dihydronaphthoquinone were more active as antiproliferative agents than their naphthalene-containing congeners (series II: substituted 2-(4′-[2.2]paracyclophanyl)hydrazinyl)-4-(naphth-2-yl)-thiazol-3-ium bromide hybrids) and (series III: 3-(4′-[2.2]paracyclophanyl)amido-2-(cyclopropylamino)-4-(naphth-2-yl)thiazol-3-ium bromide) toward the SK-MEL-5 melanoma cell line. Further antiproliferation investigations of 3c and 3e on the healthy, normal unaffected SK-MEL-5 cell line indicated their relative safety. Compound 3c showed an inhibition of eight isoforms of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDK); however, it exhibited the lowest IC50 of 54.8 nM on CDK1 in comparison to Dinaciclib as a reference. Additionally, compound 3c revealed a remarkable downregulation of phospho-Tyr15 with a level (7.45 pg/mL) close to the reference. 3c mainly showed cell cycle arrest in the pre-G1 and G2/M phases upon analysis of the SK-MEL-5 cell line. The sequential caspase-3 assay for 3c indicated a remarkable overexpression level. Finally, a molecular docking study was adopted to elucidate the binding mode and interactions of the target compounds with CDK1. 相似文献
